Apple Picking

Nono's tree actually bore (sp) fruit this year! The family picked the apples which Bella was very excited about. She actually loved how it tasted too. There weren't enough to actually make anything with them, but it was fun nevertheless. I think Noni liked picking them too.

Teagan Eating!!!!

Teagan ate solids for the first time last week. She is doing very well with it and seems to like it better than formula. We also had her four month check up and she is big like her sister. She is longer than Bella at this age 26 1/2 inches, but a pound lighter 18 lbs. I annoyed her doctor by refusing to get her all four shots and only allowing one. (You just never know what those shots can do) So I have to bring her in every week for the next four weeks to get her other shots, but it's worth it. She is such a happy little girl....

Last Friday we went with Auntie Jess and Ashley to the Roger Williams Park Zoo. It was so freaking hot, but that didn't seem to bother the girls. A lot of the animals weren't out because it was so hot, and Bella really wanted to see the elephants, but they weren't there because they are redoing their area. It was a beautiful zoo and I want to go back with Mike and they had a butterfly area that we didn't get to see. Bella had fun with the sheep as you can see she almost gave it a kiss. She also liked the giraffes. Teagan was good as usual, though on the way home miss Bella decided to give her a face rake because she was upset about something which lead to all three girls crying for a good ten minutes, but other than that the car ride was uneventful which is a good thing for Isabella because she is usually miserable in the car.

The Cape

Mike, Bella, Teagan, and I went to the Cape this weekend. Bella absolutely loved the beach, especially the birds. She had fun with Nona finding shells and rocks. She has really formed a bond with Nona and Nono. She's not a huge water person, but she likes to stand in it. Mike has taught her some fun and interesting phrases which she continually used all weekend (what the heck?, dad, are you taking a duggan?) She sounds like a teenager not a two year old. Teagan did great also. She is such a good baby. I didn't even know Bella was the least bit difficult as a baby until Teagan came. She is so easy! We capped the weekend off with a trip to McDonalds which is Bella's favorite.

Sesame Place

Last week, July 15th we went to Sesame Place. Though Bella doesn't watch the show she showed more affection towards Elmo than she does towards anyone else in her life (including her own mother!) She loved the ride down as she was able to watch Dora for 5 1/2 hours straight, what more could she ask for? She had fun on the rides, she is quite the daredevil. Mike had a good old time
